Can I use Spotify for a silent disco?

Spotify can technically be used as the audio source if your device connects correctly, but public or commercial events must also consider the streaming service’s terms and any applicable music-licensing requirements.

For reliability, download appropriate playlists where your subscription and usage rights allow rather than depending entirely on venue Wi-Fi or mobile data. Event organisers remain responsible for ensuring their use of music is lawful.
