Wedding Silent Disco Hire in Devon

No Noise runs premium wedding silent discos right across Devon — glowing LED headphones on three separate music channels, so every guest (nan included) can dance to something they love. Free delivery in every corner of the county. From £129.

How a weddings silent disco works

Guests slip on a pair of wireless LED headphones that pick up your music from a small plug-and-play transmitter — connect it to a phone, a laptop or straight into your DJ's mixer. With three channels running at once, one group can be lost in classic love songs while another rides a proper dancefloor set. Everyone dials their own volume, nothing blasts out of a speaker, and the venue's sound limit simply stops being part of the conversation.

Why it works for weddings

The concerns we hear most from weddings bookers — and how the setup handles each one.

Sound-limit friendly

Country estates, marquees and hotels with strict curfews are our happy place — nothing amplified in the room means nothing to trip the meter.

A song for every guest

Three channels playing at once means no cousin is ever stuck through a set they hate — everyone finds their vibe.

Your own volume

Older relatives can dial it right down for a chat, the dancefloor crowd can crank it — nobody is stuck at the wrong level.

Kind to your photos

No towering speaker stacks in the wedding shots — just glowing headphones and a room full of guests dancing.

Add an operator

Bring on one of our team for the night so nobody in the wedding party has to think about a transmitter.

Good to know before you book
  • You bring the music (a phone, laptop, Spotify playlist or your DJ's deck) and we handle everything else.
  • The first dance still lands — every guest jumps onto the same channel for the moment, then flicks around afterwards.
  • Standard hire covers the evening plus setup and collection windows; overnight and multi-day hires available on request.
  • Barns, marquees, estates, gardens — it all works, provided the kit stays dry.

Perfect For

If your event looks anything like these, a silent disco will suit it.

  • Evening receptions
  • Wedding afterparties
  • Mixed-age dancefloors
  • Curfew-restricted venues
  • Marquee weddings
  • Outdoor & garden weddings
  • Devon country-estate weddings
  • Multi-generational family celebrations

Planning advice

How to plan your wedding silent disco

The pointers we share with couples on their first call — the stuff that turns an evening reception into a proper dancefloor from first sip to last song.

  1. 01

Size to the evening guest list

Evening numbers matter far more than the daytime headcount. One pair per evening guest plus roughly 10% spare means nobody is queuing for a headphone.

  2. 02

    Nominate a first-dance channel

Pick one channel as the 'main' for the first dance and speeches so every guest is in the same moment together — then let them flick around once the dancefloor properly opens up.

  3. 03

    Divide by taste, not age

The classic three-channel split works a treat: floor-fillers on channel 1, older classics on channel 2, and something for the late crowd on channel 3.

  4. 04

    Loop your DJ in early

A live DJ plugs straight into a transmitter like any normal PA feed. Send them our simple one-page setup note — it's tucked inside every booking pack.

  5. 05

Talk to your venue about curfews

Silent discos routinely run well past standard music curfews because there's zero speaker noise. Just double-check the overall wind-down time with your venue separately from any music limit.

  6. 06

Add an operator for a hands-off night

For £100 one of our team handles the setup, channels and pack-down, so nobody in the wedding party gets stuck on tech duty.

How many headphones should you hire?

Aim for roughly one headphone per evening guest and add about 10% on top for late arrivals and swaps. So 60 evening guests = around 66 headphones (the 100-pack lands comfortably), while a smaller 40-guest reception sits nicely in the 50-pack. If your day mixes daytime speeches with an evening dance, size to the evening — daytime doesn't need headphones.
